Welcome Dallas.net subscribers.

Waymark Communications’ Billing Team would like to welcome you to the Waymark family. One of the most important aspects of our relationship with our subscribers is the accurate and timely billing of their accounts.

We wanted to let you, our new subscribers, know about the differences between Dallas.net’s billing platform and that of Waymark. Neither system is better or worse than the other – just different. Here are some of the differences that you will notice:

Product Mapping

While Waymark sells services similar to Dallas.net’s, the names are different and the bundling of products is often different. For each subscriber, we have used the appropriate Waymark products that would, at a minimum, deliver the same services that were provided by Dallas.net. In the cases in which we did not have a similarly bundled product, we may have placed several products on your account. In some cases, we’ve given you a higher level of service or additional features at no additional cost to you.

Even though the billing for your services might appear different, you are receiving at least the same level of service as you were receiving with Dallas.net. In many cases your service level will be higher.

Pricing

In all cases, we have honored the price that you were paying to Dallas.net. If Waymark’s price for the service is higher, we’ve reflected a discount from our standard pricing in order to honor Dallas.net’s pricing. There are no plans in the foreseeable future to raise pricing. In fact, under some circumstances where telco and internet billing can be combined pricing may be considerably reduced. We will be contacting you in the near future for your authorization to combine these services.

Invoicing

Generally, Waymark invoices those customers paying by credit card on the same day as the charge to the credit card. For customers paying by check (usually mid- to large-sized businesses), we invoice approximately twenty-eight (28) days in advance, so as to provide time for accounts payable processing and postal time to and from. We do not usually send invoices to credit card customers. All residential customers are billed via credit card.

Billing to Credit Cards

Waymark’s system is highly automated. Each month, Waymark’s billing system will automatically charge the credit card number on file the day service expires. Waymark will be required to have a signed credit card authorization form on file to properly bill Dallas.net customers. This form is available at www.waymark.net/ccauth. Alternatively, an authorization form will be included in the postal mail portion of your documentation for the transition. Please take the time to fill out the form and return it by mail, or fax to 972-503-1104 as soon as possible to avoid any interruption in services.

The First Month

Of all the products and services, telecommunications services are historically the most difficult to bill accurately – even more so after a conversion. We’ve taken every precaution to get the billing correct – we’ve checked and double checked. However, it is still possible that we’ve made an error in the services, the rates, the credit card number – there’s just a “laundry list” of potential errors in this type of conversion. So, when you receive your first invoice/billing, please take a moment to make sure that it’s correct. If not, please let us know. We’re here to help you and we want to get it right. If billed from both companies for the same service period, please send a copy of your statement to Waymark and we will cheerfully resolve the issue. If you find yourself lucky enough to remain unbilled by either company, a quick call to Waymark (972-503-1100) will help ensure that your service remains uninterrupted.

Check and Credit Card Payments After March 15

Due to the transition, Dallas.net will cease billing activity as of March 14. The importing of all customer accounts into Waymark’s billing platform should be completed on that same day. On Tuesday, we will begin applying received payments and deposit them. We will be charging credit cards on Tuesday or Wednesday for those accounts that are due, but not yet paid. Payments made after March 15 billed from either company should be mailed to Waymark Communications, 5800 Granite Pkwy, Suite 320, Plano, Texas 75024

We appreciate the confidence that Bob Crull and his team at Dallas.net have shown in the Waymark team by transferring your account to us. We hope to earn your confidence through our service, our customer care, and our billing practices. If you have any questions or comments, please contact us.
