Dear Dallas.net Customer,

One of the changes that Waymark will ask you to make will be to change the IP addresses that were given to you by Dallas.net. This change will need to be made at the same time Waymark will be transitioning your current DSL line from Dallas.net to Waymark network. Once the DSL line has been mirgrated to the Waymark network you will need to have change your current IP addresses to the IP addresses (provided by Waymark). The date and time of your migration will be (reference notification sent from Waymark). For step-by-step instructions on how to change your current IP settings to the new Waymark IP addresses please click on the link below.

Please do not make these changes until (reference date notificaiton sent from Waymark).

Your new IP addresses will be as follows:

IP address: (Reference notification sent from Waymark)

Gateway: (Reference notification sent from Waymark)

Subnet Mask: (Reference notification sent from Waymark)

DNS Primary: 206.176.148.34
DNS Secondary: 206.176.148.36

Step by Step Instructions:

Windows 95/98/ME

1. Click on the Start Menu, then choose Settings, then choose Control Panel.
2. Double-click on the Network icon.
3. Double-click on the TCP/IP for your ethernet card, then click on the IP Address tab.
4. Put a dot next to Specify an IP Address.
5. In the IP Address box, type the IP address that was given to you by Waymark Communications.
6. In the Subnet Mask box, type the Subnet Mask that was given to you by Waymark Communications.
7. Click on the Gateway tab.
8. Make sure there are NO gateways already listed under Installed gateways.
In the New gateway box, type your Gateway IP Address which was given to you by Waymark Communications, then click Add.
9. Click on the DNS Configuration tab.
Select Enable DNS.
For DNS Server search order, type 206.176.148.34, then click the Add button.
You can also enter in our Secondary DNS server, 206.176.148.36 with the same process
10. Click the OK button, then click the OK button again.
It will now ask you to restart your computer, go ahead and let the computer restart.
When it comes back up, you should be online with DSL!

WINDOWS 2000

1. Click on the Start Menu, then choose Settings, then choose Control Panel.
2. Double-click on the Network icon.
3. Double-click on the Network and Dial-up Connections icon.
4. Right click once on Local Area Connection, then choose Properties.
5. Put a dot next to Use the following IP address.
In the IP Address box, type the IP address that was given to you by Waymark Communications.
In the Subnet Mask box, type the Subnet Mask that was given to you by Waymark Communications.
In the Default gateway box, type the Gateway IP Address that was given to you by Waymark Communications.
6. Put a dot next to Use the following DNS server addresses.
In the Preferred DNS Server box, you should have 206.176.148.34.
In the Alternate DNS Server box, you should have 206.176.148.36.
Click the OK button, the click the OK button again and you will be taken back to the Network Connections window. Now restart your computer, and you should be ready to start using DSL!

WINDOWS XP

1. Click on the Start Menu, then choose All Programs, then choose Control Panel. The two options below in red are depends on the mode of XP you are in.

* If you see the screen above, double click on Network and Internet Connections. Next double click on the Network Connections Control Panel in the bottom corner.
* If you see the screen above, double click on Network Connections.

2. Right click once on Local Area Connection, then choose Properties.
3. Make sure Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is checked. Then highlight it, and click the Properties button.
4. Put a dot next to Use the following IP address.
In the IP Address box, type the IP address that was given to you by Waymark Communications.
In the Subnet Mask box, type the Subnet Mask that was given to you by Waymark Communications.
In the Default gateway box, type the Gateway IP Address that was given to you by Waymark Communications.
5. Put a dot next to Use the following DNS server addresses.
In the Preferred DNS Server box, you should have 206.176.148.34.
In the Alternate DNS Server box, you should have 206.176.148.36.
Click the OK button, the click the OK button again and you will be taken back to the Network Connections window. Now restart your computer, and you should be ready to start using DSL!
